JenLove♥ has definitely created a craze since we've (by WE, I mean me & me) started back in April 2010. I'm grateful for all the support and all the recognition my jewelry has had since. More than excited to announce that I've made my first publication into an official jewelry magazine! The best part is that BEAD Magazine is not only sold here in the U.S. but it is based out of the UK and sold all over London, England, etc! They distribute only 8 issues a year and this over-sized full color magazine has always been eyecandy for me ever since I've started making jewelry. Thank you to SilverSense from the UK who gave me products to work with and Chloe, the editor of BEAD Magazine for featuring my skills. It's pretty awesome to see my picture, my work and my little interview in an international magazine! Still hard for me to believe, but it's growing on me =P

JL♥ Jewelry seen in Hampton Roads VOW Bridal Magazine. Featuring the wedding of Nicole & John Wilkens with photography by Echard Wheeler in a 3 page spread. This also mentions JL♥ as one of their vendors. This jewelry set made for the bridal party and bride included colorful fruits to match their vintage, reggae-style wedding. The site was at the beautiful Church Point Manor and I got to see the set up and happenings before the wedding. The place was perfect and it was great to hear the reggae band in the background while people were setting up. With Nicole's attention to detail and creative thinking, along with the unique and exquisite shots of Echard Wheeler it's no surprise that this wedding is a local favorite. This was a great experience and I'm excited to see my designs recognized in the community.

Jewelry will be made for display at their Opening Gala held on October 3, 2010 and be part of the Silent Auction. I entered my VERY FIRST jewelry contest with Cousin of America who makes Revolution beads and won First Place!! I entered my 'One Flashy Mix' themed bracelet I previously made. The best part was I didn't even have to make a new one for this contest because I realized I've already used their beads in my jewelry! I won an awesome prize package of tools, finding and yes- even more beads! They published me on their official site and Facebook page. They even mentioned my Etsy page!!

I'm very excited! I will be making Aubrey Aquino her own custom bracelet! Anyone from the Bay Area, CA or Miami FL may know her face through television- and if you've watched football in the past you've seen her on the sidelines as an Oakland Raiderette and Arizona Cardinals NFL Cheerleader. Her first experience was actually in NBA's Sacramento Kings dance team. She has done so much in her career and is continuing to shine in the sports and hip-hop world. She is also a published author of 'The Ultimate Guide to Becoming a Pro Cheerleader.'

I.M.P.A.C.T. Athletes Martial Arts
I had GREAT opportunity to make Eloy Quintin a custom charm bracelet. This bracelet was based on Filipino Martial Arts. (see the full story and photo of bracelet under 'Charm Bracelet Requests'). As a trainer and fighter herself for I.M.P.A.C.T. Athletes based out of Virginia Beach VA. I recently had a chance to visit the 'training grounds' and have a tour of the place. I watched Eloy during a training session and let's just say.. even having my morning coffee wouldn't of helped. (but we know you're not suppose to drink coffee before training). =) I have a better understanding of the story behind the bracelet and in my first visit I can see the passion that I.M.P.A.C.T. has for their community. This bracelet was a challenge for me and I couldn't be more happy with the result.

Radio Talk Show Host Kim Iverson of 94.9 The Point
I haven't even been published for 2 whole months yet and my very FIRST break is having the chance to make the beautiful, talented and well-known radio talk show host Kim Iverson her very own charm bracelet. I would of never of thought I'd have this opportunity. On top of that, she loved it so much and was so excited about it, she even mentioned my jewelry line and my site over the radio! Businesses pay to have their company on the radio, but I was fortunate enough to have it done with no cost. (a big thank you Kim). Her show broadcasts in 5 different states. If you live in Hampton Roads then you hear her Monday-Friday from 7pm-12am. (I mean.. everyone knows her!). She's a great personality and I know this opportunity will open doors for more to come. Charm Bracelet donated for Silent Auction to benefit Relay For Life
I've donated my bracelet 'Babygirl' for a silent auction held for the American Cancer Society. Thank you to Cheryl Nevins for giving me the opportunity. The day I gave her the bracelet, she also purchased a necklace from me to wear for that night. The bracelet did so well that she also auctioned off the necklace she wore that night! She said they were both a success!
