Nicole's Bridal Set and Queen of The Nile

My first complete earring, necklace and bracelet set made for a bridal of 6 including the bride herself. Nicole's wedding consisted of a vintage jamaican theme with rasta colors including red, yellow and green. For her centerpieces- instead of flowers, you guessed it. She had fruit! She asked for a chunky and bold necklace with matching bracelet and earrings that were fun and statement-making. She sent me some photos for ideas and when I saw the photos, I knew I was able to match what she wanted. My worries weren't about actually making the sets, but the question is was I able to think of a design, order everything I needed and have it all done... in 2 WEEKS?!?! Well, I loved her ideas and the challenge so of course, I accepted.

The necklace and bracelet focused on a vintage german lucite pineapple and strawberry. All other beads included cherries, bananas, pears, plums, apples, oranges and even grapes. I added red chipped rock beads and green and red pearls. On the bottom of each pearl I placed a yellow sequince to keep the rasta colored theme. Necklaces were enclosed with a toggle clasp and bracelets had an adjustable lobster clasp so each bridesmaid was able to wear it to their liking. I didn't want to choose silver or gold for the chain so I went with white.
Fruit clustered earrings for Nicole's bridal party.
Just a quick shot of where her ceremony took place. It was a beautiful day and what you don't see is all the way to the right were white tables with the fruit decorations. I had the chance to see the setup a couple of hours before the wedding and everything looked great. I'm so happy I was able to finish everything before the deadline and it was exciting to see my pieces be a part of this event. Hopefully I'll get photos soon to show you how it all tied together!

Queen of The Nile
Yes, you can say I went a LOT crazy when I saw the Queen of The Nile collection from Cousin Corporation. I'm definitely loving the colors and the style. The light blue and red beads stood out the most and I've made a charm bracelet set with matching earrings with all these pieces. I still have a lot left over so I plan on possibly making a 2 or 3-strand bracelet. Whatever I come up with I will definitely share! If you would like to see more details on this set visit my Charm Bracelets section.

It's in the talks that actress Angelina Jolie will play the next 'Cleopatra'. I honestly think she'd be PERFECT for the role with her natural beauty and style. She also looks great with bold colors and I would love to see her in some blues and teals. To accessorize this queen we have a Hermes silk twill scarve, a CHANEL red patent leather accordian bag, a large Ankh necklace by Erin Wasson, a Kenneth Jay Lane Turquoise Scarab ring, Jellypop Kiera gladiator sandals, Yves Saint Laurent eye pencil in velvet black, Bobbi Brown long wearing gel eyeliner, Egyptian canopic jars, and Egyptian bastet cat jeweled box, Chania dress by DVF, book titled CLEOPATRA and an Egyptian chariot lidded ark by Home & Garden.

What's Next?
Well, of course- more requests!! Another one for a bride, birthdays and children. I'm in the process of getting my business cards re-designed so if you've purchased any jewelry with me in the past year and would like me to send you some, please email me. (I will probably be sending them to all my customers anyways). Also, I have a cute and creative idea to add more of a JenLove touch to my bracelets. Can't wait to share it with you!!
