Happy 1 Year Anniversary!!!

It's hard to believe it's already been 1 year since I first published this site and opened up my ideas and jewelry to everyone. It makes me a little emotional, but no time to get sappy (I have bracelets to make!). It was just an idea at first to make me some side money while going to Nursing school but ended up turning into a tornado of ideas and consistent offers. I admit even up to my last days of school, days from graduation, I would daydream and doodle my ideas in class for JenLove Jewelry. Years in the making.. it was only a matter of time. Again, I wouldn't be where I am right now if it wasn't for everyone who helped me along the way. I have a whole batch of new clients for 2011 but please refer back to my Happy 2011 blog post from earlier this year to see everyone who has been a part of JenLove and supported me! I can never Thank You enough!!

Speaking of support.. Check out the Cousin Corporation Facebook page. This morning they posted a link to my website about my Spring Ensembles. (THANK YOU) Everyone knows I'm a huge fan of their products and I use them throughout my pieces of jewelry. The product I'm really loving right now are their Pearl Elegance beads. I've used them lately on some of the recent charm bracelets I've made.

Here is a pair of earrings I made over the weekend. I wore a lot of grey and black this past winter and decided to make some earrings to go with more of my outfits. Even though we're in spring going into summer, I still like to wear grey during the evening and nighttime. You've seen me use their Metal Bow charms everywhere and I had to pair it with the pearls and cap it off for the finishing touch. These were simple to make in only a matter of minutes.

A Matching Pair
Well, more like a matching trio. Two matching bracelets requested from an original made last year for Jaimie. In remembrance of her grandmother, I've made three bracelets for her, her mother and her aunt. All with the same style but different photo charms for each (each bracelet had a photo of them with their grandmother) and for these two, the original pink and white polymer clay rose was changed to a neon pink. The thoughts and great design behind these bracelets were all from the customer and I'm just here to put those memories together and be part of the help.

One Picturesque Walk
with Rachel Bilson
One of my favorite sets made! A fan of green, red and ladybugs? This collection is featuring my Picturesque Walk charm bracelet and matching earring set. Actress Rachel Bilson of The O.C. wears a lot of color and isn't afraid of it. I also love the way she wears print. Other great details I've included are Chanel Sunglasses, a Burberry prorsum patent leather corset belt, Kat Spade New York Billie handbag, Diane Von Furstenberg coat in Beige, Versace Sensual Glam Full Volume lipstick, Brian Atwood Martina Swarovski crystal-embellished satin peep-toe pumps (I love those), a Chanel Apple Green Cashmere/Silk scarf and my favorite piece (besides the jewelry, of course) a cream colored cape waisted dress by River Island. I'm liking the neutral creams and tan colors right now but I'll be ready to show some bold colors this summer!
